This past weekend, I attended the 40th anniversary reunion of the Khe Sanh Veterans, held in Reno, Nevada. There, I met men who served in Vietnam with my brother, Tony Pepper, some 40 years ago.
Our soldiers come home from Iraq and are welcomed with celebrations and parades. These men came home and were ignored, spit upon and treated as if they were criminals.
They need to be re-remembered now by all. They fought for our freedom and they deserve it.
